      Kentucky Governor's Mansion: A Century of Reflection

      Frankfort Kentucky 1914- "And though the car and house stood on barren and unplanted grounds, the symbolic message was clear: Kentucky was on a new road to prosperity. Before he departed, Governor McCreary posed in front of the new mansion in another symbol of a changing America- an overland automobile."
