      Kentucky Book Fair

The Kentucky Book Fair was found in 1981, by the Internal Revenue Service as a philanthropic and non-profit corporation with an intention of staging an annual book fair. There are about 5,000 patrons and benefactors who attend the fair and augment the sales. More than 150 authors too participate each year to grace the Book Fair by giving autographs for copies of their latest book. This event is sponsored by many organizations like: Kentucky Historical Society, The state journal, Paul Sawyier, Joseph Beth Booksellers, Kentucky Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial, Georgetown College and many more. The fair gives a platform for authors to associate with the readers and raise money for schools and other public libraries. It is one of a kind of a book fair that is held in Kentucky to promote funds for charitable organizations.
